That same day, a Savannah-Chatham County Public School System feasibility document had already scoped a $5 to $8 million fundraising campaign for the Thunderbolt building the school's foundation purchased more than a month earlier.

Two websites that solicit bank wires for trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment share the same registrar, web host, and page template, public records show. Both impersonate real auction businesses, and one changed a buyer's wire destination to a Colorado company formed weeks earlier.
