When you submit a proposal for review through VerdictTank, we collect:

• Name and email address — used to deliver your report and receipt
• Proposal content — the full text of your business proposal, including any attached materials
• Payment information — processed by our payment processor; VerdictTank does not store full credit card numbers

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, feature interaction (collected via standard server logs)
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Social Security numbers, government IDs, or sensitive personal identifiers
• Health information or protected health data (PHI)
• Information from children under 13 (our service is not directed at children)

2. How We Use Your Information

VerdictTank uses your information solely to deliver and improve the service:

• Report generation — your proposal content is processed through the VerdictTank AI pipeline to produce your review report
• Communication — we use your email to deliver your report, receipt, and (if opted in) product updates
• Service improvement — aggregated, anonymized usage patterns help us improve the platform
• Compliance and security — fraud prevention, abuse detection, and legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

• Proposal content — retained only as long as necessary to generate your report, then securely deleted. If you opt into data retention for iterative reviews, your proposal is retained for 90 days.
• Generated reports — retained for 30 days for download access, then deleted.
• Account and billing records — retained as required by applicable law and for legitimate business purposes.

4. AI Processing

VerdictTank uses multiple AI models to analyze your proposal. Your proposal text is transmitted to AI model providers for processing. These providers are contractually bound to:

• Process your data solely for the purpose of generating your VerdictTank report
• Not retain, train on, or otherwise use your proposal content
• Delete your data after processing is complete

By submitting a proposal to VerdictTank, you consent to this AI processing pipeline.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) for all data transmission
• Encryption at rest for stored data
• Access controls and authentication requirements
• Regular security audits and monitoring

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent (where processing is consent-based)

VerdictTank uses essential cookies for session management and security. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics cookies in the future, you will be notified and given the option to opt out.

• AI model providers — for proposal analysis (see Section 4)
• Payment processors — for billing
• Cloud infrastructure — for hosting and data storage
